MultiCare extends Community Partnership Fund to Inland Northwest
MultiCare Health System has launched its Community Partnership Fund in the Inland Northwest to support community organizations striving to improve the health of the region.
The MultiCare Community Partnership Fund will provide financial support to select not-for-profit organizations in nine Washington and Idaho counties. The fund is part of MultiCare’s focus on building enduring partnerships that contribute to the health and vitality of our community in areas such as health improvement, economic well-being, education and the arts.
Not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organizations are eligible to apply for grants from the fund. A team of MultiCare leaders will review requests throughout the year.
“The Community Partnership Fund supports our mission of partnering for healing and a healthy future,” said Chris Wherity, Director of Community Outreach for MultiCare Health System in the Inland Northwest. “We are committed to collaborating with organizations that also are focused on improving the quality of life for all of our neighbors right here in the Inland Northwest.”
Organizations must operate in Spokane, Pend Orielle, Stevens, Ferry, Lincoln, Grant, Adams and Whitman counties in Washington, or Kootenai County in Idaho. Grants will be awarded in part based on whether the project or organization:
- Serves a broad range of community members
- Addresses an important need in the community
- Provides a significant and measureable impact
- Aligns with MultiCare’s mission
