MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup has been helping people with a variety of rehabilitation challenges since 1954. We provide high-quality physical and cognitive rehabilitation services for individuals aged 14 and above with new or longer-term disabilities. Our team evaluates a person’s clinical needs, goals and circumstances to recommend the most appropriate setting and intensity for rehabilitation services. Inpatients often require a high level of physician involvement, round-the-clock rehabilitation nursing and a combination of therapies.

Referral required

Most people are referred while they are still in the hospital recovering from a serious event or injury, or after experiencing a significant change in their ability to function independently. However, some referrals originate from skilled nursing facilities or community-based physicians when a more intensive rehabilitation program is better tolerated.
