Our feet and ankles work hard for us every day. They help to get us where we need to go and make it possible for us to stand, walk, run — even drive. An injury or other problem with these all-important body parts can literally put all of those on hold.
If you’re experiencing foot or ankle issues, MultiCare Podiatry Specialists may be able to help.
What is a podiatrist?
A podiatrist is a doctor whose training and expertise is focused on the foot and ankle. They treat a range of foot and ankle conditions including:
- Bunions, hammer toes, flatfoot.
- Foot and ankle arthritis, fractures and sprains.
- Foot and ankle skin and nail conditions.
- Foot deformities.
- Diabetic foot care and limb preservation.
- Joint pain.
- Nerve problems and neuropathy.
- Sports-related foot and ankle injuries.
Podiatrists also perform biomechanical evaluations to help diagnose problems, as well as provide orthotics services to help correct foot issues.
