To Our Wonderful MultiCare Associates;

We’ve always known that MultiCare is an amazing community gem in all the communities in which we operate. And we’ve always known that that statement is true because of each of you, our team. What the pandemic has brought us is unimaginable. On the positive side, it has brought many things into sharp relief and focus; one of those things is an even greater appreciation for our incredible staff! How very heartwarming it is to know that you have shown the caring, compassion, courage and commitment you have throughout these most difficult times.

The Board of Directors commends you and thanks you for who you are, what you do and the grace with which you do it. MultiCare’s Board is usually very quiet, but we are always highly engaged in helping the senior leadership team build a sustainable future for the organization and to bring to life our mission of ‘Partnering for Healing and A Healthy Future.’

We board members are volunteers from the communities MultiCare serves and we share a common goal of delivering the very best health system possible for a price that our communities can afford. That is our moral obligation. Like any human endeavor, our organization won’t always get it right; we’ll make mistakes. What our Board would like our communities to understand is that the intention is always to serve and always to provide value. That simply would not be possible without the tremendous efforts and good spirit of our associates. We don’t know what the days ahead will bring or what challenges we will face. But we do know that MultiCare is in excellent hands and that our communities are blessed indeed to have us serving them.
