Jeff Poltawsky joined the MultiCare executive team as president and market leader of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network on July 9.

He comes to MultiCare after serving as President of American Family Children’s Hospital and Senior Vice President of UW Health, Wisconsin for the past 10 years. Under his leadership, American Family Children’s Hospital grew into a nationally ranked, full-service pediatric hospital that claims a competitive market share in Madison, Wisconsin and beyond.

Poltawsky developed programs in partnership with physician leadership and hospital staff including surgical services, a children’s heart program, a low-dose radiation interventional suite, a level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a mother/baby care service line. He also created regional outreach clinics with community health system partners.

Poltawsky enhanced fundraising at the hospital as well, overseeing an award-winning $16-million capital campaign to increase inpatient capacity during an economic downturn.

Poltawsky’s experience also includes Administrator at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis and Director and Vice President at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He began his career at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

“Jeff possesses a positive, approachable style that will be a great match for Mary Bridge and MultiCare,” says Florence Chang, MultiCare’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. “His vision for Mary Bridge is to solidify it as one of the best and safest children’s hospitals in the nation.”
