MultiCare Health System Names Bryan Mueller as Rockwood Clinic President

MultiCare Health System announced today that Bryan Mueller has been named President of Rockwood Clinic.

Mueller will start his new role February 5. He is currently serving as both the Chief Operating Officer for the Swedish Medical Group and the Chief Executive of Swedish Mill Creek and Redmond Ambulatory Care Centers.

Rockwood Clinic’s interim President is Monica Blykowski-May, MD, who will continue her work as a physician leader and practicing physician for MultiCare Rockwood Clinic.

“Dr. Blykowski-May has played an integral role in the leadership of MultiCare Rockwood Clinic and will continue to do so during this transition,” said David O’Brien, MD, MultiCare’s Chief Executive for the Inland Northwest Region.

O’Brien is appreciative of Dr. Blykowski-May’s work and also excited for the future with Mueller.

“As President of MultiCare Rockwood Clinic, Bryan will bring over 20 years experience in health care and an impeccable resume,” Dr. O’Brien said. “His leadership will help us continue to bring outstanding care to the patients of Rockwood Clinic.”

“I’m excited about the future as we work to fulfill our vision of partnering for healing and healthy future,” Mueller stated. “Rockwood Clinic has played an important role in health care for the Inland Northwest. We will continue to improve our quality of care, putting our patients first.”

Mueller’s educational background includes a Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and two Bachelor degrees (Nursing and Chemistry) from the University of Manitoba.

MultiCare Health System, a non-profit, is based in Tacoma. In July of 2017, MultiCare purchased Deaconess Hospital, Rockwood Clinic and Valley Hospital to form MultiCare Health System’s Inland Northwest Region.
