“Don’t take this lightly”: MultiCare employees open up about COVID-19

This summer, we spoke with some of MultiCare's frontline employees about their experiences with COVID-19. With COVID-19 cases increasing at a faster rate than ever before, their thoughts are more relevant than ever.
It’s been nearly 10 months since the COVID-19 outbreak took hold in Washington state, and it’s had a deep impact on all our lives.
Many of us have been lucky enough — so far — not to have had first-hand experience with the virus. That’s not the case for health care professionals. Despite the outbreak, these essential workers have continued to care for patients in our communities, regardless of the risks to themselves or their families. They have seen how this illness can impact anyone, no matter their age or how healthy they are otherwise.
