Spokane-area MultiCare hospitals earn CMS four-star rating

MultiCare Health System announced that Deaconess Hospital and Valley Hospital both earned a four-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

This comprehensive analysis places both hospitals in the exclusive company of the top 25 percent of hospitals across the country. CMS scores hospitals based on seven indicators, centered on the quality of patient care and patient satisfaction.
