Tacoma General, New Adventures voted ‘Best of South Sound’

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital and MultiCare New Adventures Children’s Center have both won “Best of the South Sound” honors for 2019.

South Sound magazine named the two for best hospital and best day care in their annual readers’ poll.

New Adventures is located in Tacoma and offers care for children ages four weeks to 12 years old. The program philosophy supports a nurturing environment that helps all children learn and excel holistically. Staff members at New Adventures have early childhood degrees or training.

Just one block away from New Adventures is MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, which offers a wide range of health care services including a 24-hour Emergency Department with Level II trauma center, the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center, Pulse Heart Institute, a Family Birth Center and the region’s largest, most advanced NICU.
