2 ways to support cancer care in the South Sound this fall
Cancer. It’s a word no one ever wants to hear. And for good reason. Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States — and the first-leading cause of death in Pierce County.
The world of cancer care is evolving by the minute. Today, there are more than 100 recognized types of cancer and 200-plus approved treatment options. It takes strength in numbers to continue finding new, innovative ways to combat cancer.
Here are two ways you can support cancer care in the South Sound this fall.
1. Attend Rock the Foundation September 15.
This year, MultiCare Health Foundation’s “party with a purpose” will bring together members of our community for one reason: to help more people than ever access the most innovative and advanced cancer care, close to home.
Rock the Foundation will benefit an investment in software that allows physicians and care providers to design personalized care plans for patients days (or even weeks) faster than before.
This technology will ensure that physicians and other care providers have all available treatment options at their fingertips, and patients can rest assured knowing they’re receiving the best cancer care.
Join us for an unforgettable night as Rock the Foundation takes you back to the vintage Las Vegas era of glitzy gowns, flashy neon lights and classic casinos while you’re treated to a private performance from swing revival band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
