Alex Jackson named MultiCare Rockwood Clinic COO

MultiCare has named health care executive Alex Jackson as chief operating officer for MultiCare Rockwood Clinic effective June 4, where he will guide Rockwood’s day-to-day operations off the medical group while ensuring service that embodies MultiCare’s values.

Most recently, Jackson served as the Chief Executive of Providence Holy Family and Sacred Heart in Spokane. During his tenure, Jackson led a team of 4,000 full-time employees while improving patient and physician satisfaction scores.

Prior to Spokane, Jackson spent more than 10 years working in Portland for Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, including seven years serving as the COO (from 2006-2013).

“Alex’s experience and his track record are second to none,” says MultiCare Rockwood Clinic President Bryan Mueller. “During the interview process, it was clear that Alex is committed to making a difference for our patients and improving health care in our community.”

Jackson says he is excited to continue his work in health care and recognizes it as a privilege.
