MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care expanding to Spokane region in 2018

MultiCare will expand its line of high-end Indigo Health urgent care clinics to the Spokane region this fall, bringing together convenience and high-touch services to transform the healthcare experience for consumers in Eastern Washington.
The first Indigo Health urgent care clinic will be located in North Spokane with other locations to follow.
The philosophy and design of Indigo Health urgent care clinics presents a new health care experience from the moment a patient walks in, catering to individuals who want high quality care – fast. Patients can schedule appointment times online, and upon arrival are met by a health care “concierge” who will see to their needs from the time they walk in the door, to the time they go on their way. The ambiance resembles a coffee shop with amenities such as complimentary coffee, water, Wi-Fi service and charging stations that create a relaxing environment.
Indigo clinics provide care for many conditions to include allergies, cold and flu symptoms, earaches, fevers, minor burns or bruises, minor fractures or sprains, rash or poison ivy, sore throat, skin complaints, school and sports physicals, minor allergic reactions and urinary tract infections. All Indigo clinics are open seven days a week, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Indigo Health is unique compared to many other retail urgent care clinics in that Indigo is a part of MultiCare, the largest provider of urgent care in the state. MultiCare opened its first Indigo Health urgent care clinic in Tacoma June 2016 and now has 16 clinics in the Puget Sound region.
Indigo Health urgent care has already generated buzz for a fresh approach to the health care experience. The Indigo line earned accolades within the healthcare industry at the sixth annual International Interior Design Association Healthcare Interior Design Competition in October 2017, where Indigo was awarded for excellence in the “Ambulatory – Urgent Care Center” category for design. The South Hill Indigo near Puyallup was also awarded the 2017 Rising Star Award for Business Innovations by the Puyallup-Sumner Chamber of Commerce in January.
