Podiatry

Helping you get back on your feet

Our feet and ankles work hard for us every day. They help to get us where we need to go and make it possible for us to stand, walk, run — even drive. An injury or other problem with these all-important body parts can literally put all of those on hold.

If you’re experiencing foot or ankle issues, MultiCare Podiatry Specialists may be able to help.

What is a podiatrist?

A podiatrist is a doctor whose training and expertise is focused on the foot and ankle. They treat a range of foot and ankle conditions including:

  • Bunions, hammer toes, flatfoot.
  • Foot and ankle arthritis, fractures and sprains.
  • Foot and ankle skin and nail conditions.
  • Foot deformities.
  • Diabetic foot care and limb preservation.
  • Joint pain.
  • Nerve problems and neuropathy.
  • Sports-related foot and ankle injuries.

Podiatrists also perform biomechanical evaluations to help diagnose problems, as well as provide orthotics services to help correct foot issues.
