Need it sooner?

Same-day or next-day home delivery via courier is available within 30 miles of select MultiCare pharmacies. Call your MultiCare pharmacy to ask if delivery to your location is available and to confirm pricing. Note: Home courier delivery orders received before the cutoff time are eligible for same-day delivery. Orders received after that time can be delivered the next business day.

Frequently asked questions

How do I request delivery for a new prescription or refill?

Ask your provider to send your medication to your nearest MultiCare pharmacy. Then call the pharmacy to request prescription delivery.

If you’re ordering a refill, you can request delivery using our 24/7 automated phone system or MyChart patient portal.

How do I get same-day or next-day delivery?

Courier service is available to any location within 30 miles of select retail pharmacy locations. Call your local MultiCare pharmacy and we can help you determine if you’re eligible and answer questions about the service.

Delivery is generally available until 8pm most weeknights. But your delivery may be scheduled for the next day for a variety of reasons, including:

  • The pharmacy doesn’t have a sufficient supply of your medication
  • Insurance authorization may be required or is delayed
  • The pharmacy needs follow-up information from your provider
  • Your prescription was sent close to closing time or after pharmacy hours

Can you deliver my medication if it's a controlled substance?

Delivery service is available for controlled substance medications, but you will need to meet the delivery person to accept and sign for these deliveries. Controlled substances — which may include some pain medications, cough syrups and stimulants — cannot be left at your doorstep.

May I still have a consultation with a pharmacist if I have questions?

Absolutely. Oftentimes, we will contact you to confirm whether you have questions, especially if it’s a new prescription. You may also reach out to our pharmacy staff before, during or after delivery with any questions.

How do I know when my prescription will be delivered?

If you choose mail order delivery, your medication should arrive in one to three business days of being filled.

If you choose same- or next-day courier services, you will receive a text and email when the courier has picked up your prescription from the pharmacy. The driver will call you when they’re close to your home.
