Steven Phillips, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric neurology, and neurophysiology and epilepsy. Dr. Phillips attended medical school at Loma Linda University, completed a pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Oakland and his pediatric neurology training at Stanford University. He offers a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological services and has a special interest in the diagnosis, treatment management of epilepsy, intraoperative monitoring and autism.

Dr. Philips treats a variety of pediatric neurology conditions. He has a special interest in caring for pediatric patients with epilepsy and autism. He is also the lead principal investigator in the pediatric neurology research program at the MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation.

    I think that the provider gives too much weight to parental input.

    I love how Dr. Phillips engages with {patient name removed}. He always listens to her.

    Dr Phillips is always overprepared. He checks the chart before the appointment and does all the research necessary so that he has most of the answers while we are at the appointment. He has a good bedside manner with my daughter and explains everything in plain English without dumbing it down. He had a med student with him at this appointment. She was polite and nice about asking permission to be there.Dr Phillips also really seems to enjoy teaching the students and I also learned a few things too.
