Stephen Doucet, MD

Dr Doucet is a very informed smart guy. One of the only doctors I've had that talks treatment and medication options, pros and cons. He used the white board in his office to demonstrate the duration of effectiveness for two medication options. I feel like I'm talking to competent and informed doctor.

We seem to b lucky to have gotten a Dr who listens.

Dr. Doucet was outstanding. This was our first meeting (meet and greet). He is the first primary care provider in the MultiCare system to ask me about myself, career, family, etc. I was very impressed with that. He also showed authentic concern about my health issues and was proactive suggestion follow-up.

I would recommend him to so many, but I don't know anyone local to him.

My only suggestion is to make sure the patient has a prescription for medical equipment if prescribing medicine that needs equipment.

I have already recommended him to many people - I really like Dr. Doucet - he always listens and explains everything - he is trying a new form of treatment that no one else has offered and yet it is very simple - using histamine blockers for nerve pain - I am so excited to see if this helps!!!! From him I have learned more about my physical self than I have from any past MD - I have learned so much!!!!

Dr. Doucet even consulted with me re/ the copay cost of a new suggested medication.

I ENCOUNTERED EVERYTHING In terms of CARE, CONCERN, LISTENING AND SUGGESTIONS THAT I WOULD HOPE FOR IN A APPOINTMENT WITH MY DOCTOR !!!

I appreciate the level of concern and commitment to my health that Dr Steve had. He is the first doctor to understand my issues and he didn't rush me out. He took the time to learn of the myriad of issues I have and I'm grateful to have him as a GP

The only reason for the "4" ratings as opposed to "5" is because everything was very rushed and I felt like a lot of information was thrown at me very quickly without much of chance to ask clarifying questions.

My daughter was with me. As much as she needed to hear what went on, at times I felt she hindered an hoinest response from me to the questions.

Listens. Determines next step or referral as needed. No complaints.

Dr. Steve is very personable and treated me like an acquaintance more than a patient, which Is good. I felt like more of a person than a patient.

I have told everybody about Dr. Doucet - I like him so much!!!! He listens to everything I say - when he brings up a new treatment he explains all of the reasons to me and how it will work. I am a very detailed person and appreciate this.

Dr Doucet is a treasure. He takes time to explain my options, provides guidance and, most importantly, he understands and hears me. After decades (no exaggeration) of trying to find a doctor who understands my complex needs, I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found him.

3 months to see a doctor and 3 more months to wait for my annual wellness check. 6 months total wait time seems unreasonable

It's the first I've felt validated and have someone who understands what I need to be in better health.

the doctor I saw was not my normal doctor which was fine. But on this same day I found out our family doctor was up and leaving with no warnings. Anyway treatment that was discussed never happened, not doctors fault, just no communication after wards

Dr. Doucet has unparalleled knowledge of and expertise in treating Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. This was hands down the best medical appointment I've ever had to address my symptoms. He's a huge asset to Multicare and EDS patients in Western WA and I feel really lucky to have him as my physician.

He's great - I think he is a little too cautious about my health issues regarding what he's allowed to do or try or what the insurance is willing or allows

Dr Doucet is an above average physician. Even though he was late, he spent 40 minutes with me to solve my health issues
