Maria Lutes, ARNP, CWON, is board certified in pediatric nursing and wound ostomy care. She helps treat children with a range conditions, from pediatric trauma to burns and abscesses. After earning a Master of Nursing at the University of Washington, she completed a Wound Ostomy certification program at Emory University. She has special interests in pediatric surgical disease processes, pediatric trauma and bowel management for pediatric anorectal malformations.

Practice Philosophy: I enjoy caring for children in all stages of their care, from pre-surgical assessment to post-operative evaluation. I am dedicated to comprehensive care of children and their families through the entire surgical process, and to ensure that our pediatric patients have a comfortable and successful recovery process. My other passion is wound and ostomy care. I use evidence-based wound care techniques to accelerate the healing process, while also minimizing pain and frequency of dressing changes.
