Lisa Walker, MD

Lisa Walker, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care for patients. Dr. Walker offers general family medicine services, including chronic disease management, acute care and preventive medicine, with a strong focus on education and partnership. She enjoys helping patients understand their health, the impact of their daily choices and how to work together to reach their personal health goals.

Dr. Walker’s journey to health care began in high school, inspired by a love of biology and chemistry and by teachers who encouraged her curiosity and growth. Her undergraduate education emphasized caring for the whole person, which led her to pursue primary care. She chose a medical school with a strong focus on primary care and rural health, where she built a solid foundation for her work today. Dr. Walker especially values education and collaboration, helping patients understand how their actions affect their health and supporting them as they work toward their goals. Outside of work, Dr. Walker enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and reading.
