Katherine Scherling, MSN, GNP-B

Katie Scherling, MSN, GNP-BC, CWCN-AP, is certified in both gerontology and wound care. She offers a full spectrum of wound management, from acute and chronic wounds, to diabetic, vascular and burn wounds. In addition to geriatric medicine, her medical areas of interest include limb conservation as well as diabetes management. Katie enjoys living in Tacoma with her husband and their two dogs. She and her husband share a love of cooking, and when the weather is nice, paddle boarding in Puget Sound.

I provide comprehensive, evidenced-based wound management care, with empathy and a cooperative focus. Wound management can consume patients’ lives, so my goal is to develop a collaborative care plan that addresses the cause, facilitates optimal healing, and prevents recurrence whenever possible.
