Joe Y. Kim, MD
Joe Kim, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pain management and interventional pain management. He is committed to caring for patients with complex pain conditions, including spine, joint, neuropathic and cancer-related pain. Dr. Kim partners with patients to navigate treatment options and support them through every stage of care, with a focus on listening, trust and shared decision-making.
Dr. Kim was drawn to pain medicine through his anesthesiology training, where early experience caring for patients with cancer-related pain shaped his approach. He values the trust his patients place in him and sees it as a privilege to walk alongside them through complex and often challenging care. Away from work, Dr. Kim enjoys supporting his children’s activities. When time allows, he enjoys writing, rock climbing and tennis, and occasionally travels for motivational speaking to youth.
