David Coons, DO

Dr. David Coons is an orthopedic surgeon with special interest and extensive training in arthroscopic shoulder and knee reconstruction. He completed fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Plano Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Dallas, Texas; graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Service, Des Moines, Iowa; and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Coons is fluent in Spanish and enjoys a variety of outdoor sports, including skiing, golf and scuba diving.
