Abigail Schneidmiller, ARNP, CWON

Abbey Schneidmiller, PNP, CWON, is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who cares for children with a range of conditions, from pediatric surgical conditions, pediatric trauma, to pediatric wound and ostomy care. After earning a Master in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree, she completed a Wound Ostomy certification program at Emory University. She has special interests in pediatric surgical disease process, pediatric trauma, bowel management for pediatric anorectal malformations, and wound and ostomy care.

I am passionate about the comprehensive care of children and their families through the entire surgical process. Whether I evaluate children before surgery, assist with their management while in the hospital, or offer care in the postoperative period, it is my hope that the children we care for have a comfortable and successful recovery process.

My other passion is wound and ostomy care. I provide evidence-based wound care techniques to minimize pain, the frequency of dressing changes and to help accelerate the healing process.
