SEATTLE, WA – OL Reign today announced MultiCare, a not-for-profit health care organization that has been caring for communities in Washington state since the founding of Tacoma’s first hospital in 1882, as the team’s top-back kit partner, marking their continued commitment to the Club.

As the team’s new kit partner, the MultiCare logo will occupy the top-back of OL Reign’s official jerseys, including all jerseys available to consumers from OL Reign’s online shop and at Lumen Field.

In recent years, OL Reign and MultiCare have come together to work on initiatives to promote the well- being of OL Reign fans and the surrounding communities. In 2021, OL Reign and MultiCare teamed up to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations for anyone 18 and older at OL Reign matches. OL Reign also honored five MultiCare health care workers through this effort as OL Reign Legends before the May 31 match against the Washington Spirit.

“MultiCare’s mission calls on us to partner with other organizations that are committed to the communities we serve,” said Bill Robertson, CEO of MultiCare. “OL Reign is invested in the health and wellness of the people of our state in ways that stretch beyond athletics, and we welcome this opportunity to continue to grow our partnership with the team.”

As part of this partnership, OL Reign and MultiCare will collaborate on several additional community- centered events to promote the health and well-being of the communities in Washington state. In October, OL Reign will host a Breast Cancer Awareness match, presented by MultiCare. In addition, OL Reign and MultiCare will collaborate on a Behavioral Health video series, promoting the importance of caring for mental health in sports and everyday life.

“We are thrilled to expand our longstanding partnership with MultiCare and continue to work alongside them to build a healthy future for our players, coaches, fans, and community,” said OL Reign CEO Vincent Berthillot. “MultiCare prioritizes the needs of our communities to improve their overall quality of life, and that is a mission that OL Reign is proud to back.”

OL Reign will debut kits featuring the MultiCare logo on Sunday, May 1, as the team takes on the Washington Spirit at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. at 2 PM PT.
