Forbes names MultiCare to America’s Best Employers By State list
TACOMA, Wash. — Forbes announced that MultiCare Health System is on their “America’s Best Employers By State” list, ranking as one of the top Washington-based organizations across all sectors of industry.
MultiCare is one of nine health care organizations selected from Washington. It also ranked higher than several national organizations and companies.
“The last 22 months have been trying times for everyone, and especially for those who work in health care,” said Laura Edwards, vice president of human potential operations for MultiCare. “We are incredibly proud of our staff and elated to see this feedback. This recognition honored by and continue our work of becoming the Pacific Northwest’s highest value system of health.”
According to Forbes, the rankings are based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 80,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 people in their U.S. operations. The rankings seek to demonstrate how perceptions of companies differ from state to state based on local leadership and economies. Forbes then ranked the top three to 101 companies in each state, depending on workforce size. The complete list is available on the Forbes website.
