MultiCare’s Community Partnership Fund allocated $500,000 locally in 2020

SPOKANE, Wash. — MultiCare Health System today announced that its Inland Northwest Region’s Community Partnership Fund awarded $500,000 to local non- profits and COVID relief efforts in 2020.

22 non-profits were awarded grants for a total of $250,000 with another $250,000 going to COVID relief efforts for a grand total of $500,000.

“Our Community Partnership Fund puts our value of collaboration into action,” said Dr. David O’Brien, MultiCare’s senior vice president and chief executive for the Inland Northwest Region. “By collaborating with our award recipients, we are taking a joint stake in our community and making our community stronger during these unprecedented times.”

Funds were divided to local non-profits in ten different categories including behavioral health, children, chronic disease, education, hunger, health care, homelessness, intentional injury, LGBTQ+, and oral health. Specifically, some of these, organizations include: 2ND Harvest, Ashley House, Big Table and many more. See the complete list of 2020 recipients.
