MultiCare East Pierce Addiction Medicine (EPAM) provides compassionate and nonjudgemental team-based Addiction Medicine consultation and medication management services to clients age 14 and older. Our goal is to reduce barriers to treatment and find ways to help our clients achieve their individual goals safely and with support from our multidisciplinary team.
Our services include
- Addiction Medicine consultation
- Medication treatment for opioid use disorder
- Medication treatment for alcohol use disorder
- Medication treatment for tobacco use disorder
- Coordination of care with outpatient/inpatient psychosocial treatment programs
- Hepatitis C treatment
- Overdose education and access to naloxone (Narcan)
- Testing for HIV, syphilis, HepatitisC
- Basic immunizations
- Access to our separate clinic for pregnant people with SUD: MultiCare START Clinic

East Pierce Addiction Medicine Fellowship
East Pierce Addiction Medicine (EPAM) Fellowship offers comprehensive training for physicians (with an emphasis on Family Physicians and Obstetrics) passionate about providing high-quality integrated care to people with substance use and dependence. This fellowship provides experience and skill-development working as junior faculty within a thriving community-based residency program.
