Patients & Visitors at Gig Harbor Medical Park

We invite patients to learn more about their visit with us. We recognize how important it is that our patients have a caring environment that includes family and friends. Visitors will be accommodated as much as possible, with consideration for other patients and overall patient care.

Before your visit

There are several steps you can take before your visit. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow ample time for you to be registered and complete any needed forms. Please plan to bring the following items with you:

• Health insurance card. We recommend you double check your health insurance coverage directly with your provider to ensure you are covered. You can view a list of health insurance plans currently accepted at MultiCare. MultiCare also offers several financial assistance programs available, including structured payment plans and income-based payment reductions. Learn more about financial assistance options.
• Co-pay. Please be prepared to make your co-pay during the registration process.
• Medications. Bring a list of your current medications or your prescription bottles with you.
• Medical records. If you are a new patient, please request a copy of your medical records be sent to your new provider two to four weeks prior to your visit.
• Preregister for same day surgery. If having a same-day surgical procedure, learn what steps you can or need to take, including forms you need to fill out before your visit.

After your visit

• Get your prescriptions filled at a MultiCare Pharmacy.
• Register for a MyChart patient portal account to access your medical records.
