The care you need, right in your own backyard
The MultiCare Covington campus first opened in 1993 as the Covington Clinic. One of the first medical clinics in Covington, we have grown in size and expanded services to meet the changing needs of this fast-growing community.
In 2012, we brought emergency services to the community for the first time when we added an emergency department to the campus, located adjacent to our original clinic building.
In 2018 the campus grew again when we opened a new, four-story hospital building. MultiCare Covington Medical Center was dubbed the Cecchettini Pavilion, in honor of MultiCare’s former president and CEO, Diane Cecchettini, RN. The hospital brings much needed patient care services to Covington, including hospital rooms especially equipped to treat pediatric patients and other amenities.
Today, the MultiCare Covington campus is a multi-function, neighborhood health care hub providing hospital/inpatient care as well as outpatient surgical services, primary care, specialty care, urgent care and emergency services, and other supportive services such as pharmacy, lab and imaging all in one convenient location.
About the hospital
The four-story, 58-bed hospital features private rooms, connects to the emergency department and is walking distance to broader primary care and specialty services available on the MultiCare Covington campus. Other services available include orthopedic and sports medicine, bariatric surgery and general surgery.
The facility includes the following rooms:
- 24 medical/surgical rooms.
- 24 progressive care rooms.
- 3 operating rooms, with pre- and post-op rooms, recovery areas and a surgical waiting room located nearby.
- An inpatient pharmacy and lab.
The building has four floors for patient care:
- First floor: Surgery, Laboratory and Pharmacy services. A meditation room is also available.
- Third floor: Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Fourth floor: Progressive Care Unit.
