Taking Care of Your Newborn (Tacoma)

Prepare for the arrival of your baby by learning the basics of newborn care.

In this class, you’ll get practical tips for caring for your baby during the first months and how to ease the transition into parenthood.

We’ll cover:

• Bathing 
• Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding
• Diapering
• Recognizing baby’s cues
• Sleeping 
• Strategies for calming your baby
• Swaddling

Only one registration is required per couple.

Eligible participants can receive a $25 reimbursement after registering for one paid childbirth class and two additional paid family education classes (in person, on demand or live virtual). Contact 253-403-7586 or [email protected] to receive reimbursement upon completion of your three classes.
