Sunil Rangarajan, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist who offers comprehensive care for all cancers. He completed training in the Physician-Scientist pathway at the University of Alabama at Birmingham after completing a unique dual fellowship in oncology and nephrology. Dr. Rangarajan was awarded the 2020 Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology – Young Investigator Award for his work on identifying novel biomarkers of renal dysfunction in patients with multiple myeloma. Away from work, he enjoys playing chess, nature photography and traveling.

Doctor R , I have a hard time pronouncing his last name. But he passed in all the listed criteria. He listened at great communication skills and offered suggestions. Not your typical five minute exam that some doctors abide by due to the quota factor. I feel my treatment was excellent and have no complaints except for the bureaucracy and regulations that are imposed on the doctors. That is what makes my appointment A waste.
