We are a post-graduate Fellowship for Advanced Practice Providers, one of only a few in Washington State, designed to improve patient outcomes and provider satisfaction by intentionally training new graduates for primary care roles & settings.
- Family Nurse Practitioner only
- New graduates within the first year of practice
- Located in Tacoma, Washington at MultiCare James Center Primary Care
- Affiliated with a Family Practice Residency
- Includes MultiCare Health Clinic – Oakland High School, school-based health clinic
- One year in length
- 4 positions:
- 2 in Spring
- 2 in Fall with Northwest Consortium for Advanced Practice & Education (NW CAPE)
- Full-scope family practice except OB

Program goals include:

- Chart completion within two days
- Coding accurately to capture charges
- Recognize personal needs for growth & establish goals to accomplish
- Provider satisfaction and belonging reflected in long-term retention

- Clinic opened April 2018
- Joint venture with Tacoma Public Schools
- Students 13-19 & onsite daycare
- Staffed three days/week during the school-year
- APP Fellows staff clinic one day a week
