MultiCare Offers Extended Hours for Mammograms throughout October

SPOKANE – In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MultiCare Rockwood Clinic announced today that it will offer extended hours throughout the month of October for patients needing mammograms.

Monday-Friday appointments will be accepted from 7 AM – 6 PM. Additionally, on Saturday October 10 and 24th appointments can be made from 8 AM – 4:30 PM.

MultiCare’s expanded mammography hours are available at two locations; Spokane Valley, 12410 E. Sinto Ave Suite 105, and on the lower South Hill, 400 E. 5th Ave. Both locations offer the latest in mammogram technology with 3D™ imaging.

“As with most cancers, early detection with breast cancer patients helps produce a more positive patient outcome,” Dr. Rachel O’Connor, Diagnostic Oncologist said. “Our patients lead busy lives and we want to encourage them to have their annual exam every year.”
