Christopher Yarter, MD

This was my first appointment with Dr. Yarter. He was excellent and exceeded all my expectations.

The last time I filled out one of these surveys was over 3 years ago, also for Dr. Yarter. In that survey I was very dissatisfied with his service and "bedside manner" That was absolutely NOT the case this time. This visit was a complete 180 from how I remembered him last time. At my visit yesterday he showed genuine care for my health and my personal well being and left me feeling deeply satisfied with my overall medical care at Rockwood. I had honestly been considering asking for a new primary care physician before yesterday, but I am very happy with Dr. Yarter's service and will be sticking with him moving forward. Many thanks to him and all of the staff at Rockwood.

The efforts Christopher used to include me in my treatment decisions and options was Very Good. The likelihood of my recommending Christopher to others in Very Good.

I do like my primary doctor. He listens and he's friendly. I comfortable with him

Dr. Yarter clearly cares about his patient's health. He is kind and puts you at ease with his sense of humor. He answers any questions about my health.

This was my fourth annual Medicare checkup. I find the exam moderately enlightening. Much of the time was spent reviewing medical history (both mine and my family's) which hasn't changed from year to year. Would prefer to focus on the future -- a plan for navigating my seventh decade, along with recommendations Perhaps you could prepare a handout with changes to expect and how to recognize/mitigate them.

First time seeing him. I'm a little complicated. He listened well and didn't rush me.

Dr. Yarter is always very kind and obviously cares a lot about my issues and how best I can deal with them. I have had a lot of health problems over the years. I think a lot due to my being on my own at a very early age and not taking very good care of myself during my first 27 years. I truly value doctors like Dr. Yarter who truly care about my treatment. It is how I have been able to remain in as good of health as I have.

I would never use or recommend this doctor for a serious health concern. He would be totally out of his depth.
