He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, ID, and his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University in Henderson, NV. Garen is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
