Returning to work is essential for recovery
For more than 30 years, Washington’s employers have trusted MultiCare Occupational Medicine to care for their workers after a job-related injury.
Our team of experienced medical providers believe that returning to work is essential for recovery. We collaborate with employers, employees and all other stakeholders to help navigate the workers’ compensation process with cost and productivity in mind. We will handle the details, so that you can keep your business running.
When you partner with us, employees have access to any of our Occupational Medicine clinics, as well as Indigo urgent care clinics, so that they don’t have to visit the ER for minor illnesses or injuries.

Additional resources
Self-insured workers. If your employer is self-insured, the company you work for must cover the costs of an on-the-job injury or occupational disease. L&I regulates self-insurance programs. Employees of self-insured businesses have the same rights and responsibilities as other workers in Washington State.

- What to know if you’re injured at work
L&I workers. Unlike other types of insurance, L&I can cover injuries only if they happen at a definite time and place at work. Also, claims for occupational diseases are accepted only if your work and medical history shows you have an illness or infection that was directly caused by the work you do, and not by something else.
