Wendy Jin, MD, MPH

Wendy Jin, MD, MPH, is a general pediatrician. Dr. Jin supports vaccinations for all children. Her patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. Jin promotes and follows the Center for Disease Control's immunization schedule.

Dr. Jin spends most of her free time chasing after and playing with her two young girls whose interests are ever-changing. Her family stays active by hiking and RV-ing with their two goldendoodles. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and yoga. When she has the opportunity, Dr. Jin loves binge-watching reality TV, trying new restaurants and cleaning.

I chose to become a pediatrician because I love kids! They are a hilarious, resilient, and uniquely challenging group of individuals that continue to surprise and inspire me every day. I find it a tremendous privilege to influence a child’s life course and to help empower others in their parenting journey.

My approach to medicine has never been to treat diseases, but to treat people and help others care for themselves. I think our work goes so much beyond curing illness — we’re here really to support wellness of the body and mind.

The most important thing families should know about me is that above everything, I value the insight of my patients and caregivers, and believe that trust is the most important aspect of our relationship. Every interaction with myself or my team should feel like a partnership. Especially as a parent myself, I recognize that every family’s needs and challenges are unique and changing — a decision that’s right for one may not be the best approach someone else. I’m here to provide up-to-date and evidence-based advice while helping families navigate making medical decisions and parenting.
