Kristen Flemmer, MD, is a board-certified family physician providing care to families at all life stages. She had the privilege to care for the same patients for twenty-one years and found it rewarding to take care of them over a good span of their life. She finds joy in meeting her patients' needs and engaging with them for their healthcare. Dr. Flemmer has fourteen years of experience with delivering babies and caring for women and their children. In additional, she has four years of urgent care work which enhanced her skills in orthopedics, lacerations, rashes and acute infections.

Outside of work, she enjoys watching her son's football games with her husband, hiking (especially off path), gardening and getting together with family.

Practice Philosophy: It is my hope that patients desire good health and engage in their health care. I find it always best to engage the patient in their health care and encourage lifestyle modifications.     Provider seemed in a rush and gave me very generic treatment. She treated me like a stereotype for someone my age, not listening to how active and able I am for my age. She prescribed a new medication without explaining what it was supposed to do or if it had side-effects. My review recommended things I am already doing. She did not commend me for my good health practices, such as regular exercise or a well-rounded diet.

    I was a very happy patient before I was notified of a change in doctor and patient care last year. I had looked forward to this appointment. However I left so disappointed! Doctor never asked me how I felt that day instead I was given a questionnaire on how I felt in the past 2 weeks. Plus, I was told I was healthy but I am not. I am obese person. How can I be healthy? I was not asked if I had other health issues or concerns. I was told I can do a physical exam and blood work.Why? I was just told a minute ago I was healthy. Do I have to do this so the doctor has something to talk to me about? I was not explained what the bloodwork would entail either. I don't want to get billed for something that my insurance may not cover. I wish I can go back to who I was assigned before or at least give me an option who I could see going forward. If I knew it would be a consultation visit I should have been told I could have a online appointment instead.

    I've been having a difficult time and it takes me awhile to build a rapport. I was expecting to leave my appointment with the same frustration however I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of my appointment. Dr Flemmer validated my feelings & was extremely helpful in getting me a referral. I really appreciate her

    My experience with everyone else in the clinic was wonderful however the MD I worked with spent very little time in the room with me (less than 5 minutes). She had not reviewed any information on my chart before the appt to establish a new PCP. Additionally, she did not talk about any of my history with me. I was very disappointed with this appt as I had waited several months to establish care with a new doctor after mine had left the clinic. I was looking for a new PCP before I had even left the parking lot.

    My provider is very thorough. She asked a lot of questions and explained everything to me. She addressed my concerns for that visit and updated any referrals and Labs that were due.

    Felt reprimanded for bringing up concerns. Both were addressed but she was unhappy I bought anything up and said it was a transfer of care appt only. My understanding was that she wouldFelt reprimanded for bringing up concerns regarding migraines and earache. Both were addressed but was told this was a transfer of doctor appt and It was apparent she was annoyed to discuss anything other than reviewing my history. It was clear she was knowledgeable but bedside manner was lacking. Left holding back tears.

    This was my first encounter with Dr. K. Flemmer. I really liked her. She seemed a bit rushed and flustered when she entered the room, as if something had perhaps been occurring earlier that may have led to her 25 minute late entrance to the exam room. My appointment was definitely cut short, bit due to the fact that I didn't have major concerns that took extra time, we completed the physical exam in a very rushed, yet timely manner.

    Everything went well. I think most people have room for improvement. I don't usually give 5's unless they absolutely exceeded my every single expectation or required tasks and such. The 4's don't mean that Dr Flemmer didn't do what I expected or what's called for in her position. She did great, I felt comfortable and really like her. I think she's serving her patients well and will be a great fit for me.

    The doctor seemed like she was in a rush didn't know my medical history even though it's right in front of her face all she had to do was read the chart notes.

    Not a very open minded doctor nor does she seem to have any knowledge about patient's individual needs or medical issues. Felt like she was reading out of a drug reps pamphlet and didn't even look at my past medical history when making her opinions on my personal health issues

    It was my first time meeting my new dr. She was nice. We talked about horses. I was irritated that I had to wait as long as I did. She was able to get my labs scheduled immediately which was appreciated.

    Dr Flemmer is by far the worst dr. I have been to. Her concern for me and my reason for the visit was very poor. She is rude and seems to lack concern for me as a parien. This has happened twice and I will not go back to her. Lacks any concern or empathy.

    The Dr was cold, rude & standoffish. Perhaps she was having a bad day? I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I have another appointment on the 7th. If it doesn't go better, I will be looking for a new Dr.

    I wasn't listened to or cared about. Doctor changed my dosage of medication without informing me of possible side effects of doing so. I learned this the hard way on my own, and had to deal with it on my own. She was very explicit in stating that she does not do telephone visits. I got the impression that if anything bad happens to me, she didn't really care nor was she there for me to contact for advise.

    Dr. Flemmer is outstanding! She is always a good listener, shows she cares about me as a patient, and always follows up immediately with my visit report! In fact it was handed to me before I left the room! My prescription was forwarded immediately and ready for pick up at the pharmacy by the time I arrived 10 minutes later! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
