We invite patients to learn more about their stay with us. We recognize how important it is that our patients have a caring environment that includes family and friends. Visitors will be accommodated as much as possible, with consideration for other patients and overall patient care.

Visitor amenities and resources

Gifts and flowers

The Gift Shop at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is located near the main lobby of the hospital on the third floor. For more information, please call 253-697-1900. The gift shop hours are:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9am – 7pm
  • Friday: 9am – 5pm
  • Saturday: 10am – 4pm
  • Sunday: Noon – 4pm

Our volunteers deliver flowers and gifts to patient rooms. Please keep in mind that large plants and floral arrangements may be difficult to accommodate. Please do not bring flowers such as lilies and eucalyptus into the hospital as highly fragrant flowers can cause life-threatening allergic reactions in some people.

Internet access

Free, wireless internet access is available for use throughout the hospital. You must accept MultiCare’s terms and conditions for use before being able to connect. Open a browser window from your computer, tablet or mobile device in order to read and accept these terms.

Mail

Incoming mail is delivered on weekdays only (closed on weekends and holidays), and outgoing mail is picked up each afternoon.

Notary services

Notary services are available for hospitalized patients. If you need a notary, please notify your unit staff. These services may only be available during limited hours.

Spiritual care services

Through spiritual care services, all patients and families can meet with a non-denominational hospital chaplain for counseling and spiritual support. If you would like a visit from our spiritual care team, please let your nurse know.
