Pulse Heart Institute and Western Washington Medical Group Form New Partnership

Outside of a clinic

TACOMA, Wash. — Pulse Heart Institute is proud to announce its partnership today with the Western Washington Medical Group (WWMG) Cardiology, which has provided expert cardiovascular care to residents in the greater Snohomish County region for more than 40 years. WWMG is an independent multispecialty group of more than 100 providers, comprised of primary care, medical, and surgical specialists, caring for the Snohomish County Community.

This partnership focuses on cardiology services, including the WWMG Cardiac Imaging Center, and will combine the experience of WWMG’s cardiology division with Pulse’s clinical excellence and program resources. Pulse Heart Institute has built a state-wide cardiac care network offering cardiology care, as well as cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery. WWMG’s alignment with Pulse Heart Institute helps ensure ongoing access to local outpatient cardiology services and increases access to other cardiac care resources.

“WWMG cardiology has a reputation for delivering high-quality care, and we are thrilled to partner with a talented group of providers and staff to serve the Snohomish County community,” said Jason Parks, Pulse Chief Executive.

WWMG Cardiology’s five primary care offices remain local, independent and physician-owned. The dozen WWMG providers and 28 staff members who will be part of this partnership will work closely with the Pulse Heart Institute team, but will remain WWMG employees and will continue to serve patients in the greater Snohomish County region. Services, locations and hours will all remain the same, and existing relationships between WWMG Cardiology and other established, high-quality physicians and care teams in those communities will not change.

“We are honored to partner with Pulse Heart Institute, and we look forward to growing together to serve patients in Snohomish County needing cardiac care,” said Daniel Montanez, WWMG director of cardiovascular services.
