Community Partnerships

There are numerous organizations and programs in the South Puget Sound area supporting and assisting with the transition into life after inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation. MultiCare partners with these organizations to make the transition into the community as seamless as possible.

Here and Now Project

The Here and Now Project’s mission is to connect and empower the paralysis community in the Pacific Northwest. Through private support groups, community activities and larger annual gatherings, we have built a fellowship who encourage and inspire each other to “Do Life” ​ in the ​here and now.

Brain Injury Alliance Washington

The Brain Injury Alliance of Washington (BIAWA) is a small, nonprofit organization that has exhibited the power to do great things. The BIAWA was originally founded in 1982 as the Washington State Head Injury Foundation by family members determined to create a system of support for all Washingtonians affected by Brain Injury.

Amputee Coalition

The Amputee Coalition’s mission is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.

LoveYourBrain Foundation

The LoveYourBrain Foundation is a non-profit organization that improves the quality of life of people affected by traumatic brain injury and raises awareness about the importance of brain health.

MultiCare is now offering a LoveYourBrain Yoga program for patients in our outpatient program at Good Samaritan Hospital. Learn about the program.
