Kara Ayers, ARNP, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner who cares for patients from adolescence up. One of the reasons Kara chose a career in medicine is to be an advocate for the LGBTQA+ community, helping make reproductive health care inclusive and accessible to everyone. Her goal is to empower people to reach their health and wellness goals at every stage of life. Away from work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening and spending time with her wife and family.

    Kara Ayers is amazing. I met her when she worked in Bonney Lake. When I found out she moved offices, I followed her, even though it takes 40 minutes to get there versus the 5 minutes it used to. She makes me feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics and really gets to the root of the issues. She's also been extremely helpful getting me set up for my breast exams, even connecting me with the right information for genetic testing. What I love the most is the time she takes to really get to know me and things going on with my health. She's never in a rush and makes me feel Important. I have recommended her to all the ladies I know!

    Kara Ayers is the bee's knees. No woman likes this particular exam. But as comfortable as one can feel during it, I put that down to Kara. She is caring and warm. It's clear her goal is to make each patient cared for, comfortable, and heard. She listens.

    Kara was great! Very empathetic and a good listener, even though the wrong appt was scheduled (I needed a tubal ligation consult). I didn't feel rushed at all and all my concerns were taken seriously, and wuestions answered.

    I've had unfortunate experiences with all kinds of providers and felt Kara really validated my experience with PCOS and helped as much as she could, encouraging me to continue with follow ups to another Provider (Endocrinology) and offered a referral to UW just to see if they had additional things they could add to my treatment.
