Troy Underbrink, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician with specialization in military medicine, women’s health, men’s health, LGBTQ+ health and gender affirming care. Dr. Underbrink also provides a wide range of office procedures including skin biopsy, joint injections, vasectomy, colposcopy, osteopathic manipulative treatment and auricular acupuncture. In his free time, Dr. Underbrink enjoys cooking, hiking and exploring. He also is a long time science fiction and comic book fan.

In addition to his clinic time, Dr. Underbrink is also the Clinical Director for Primary Care in West Pierce County.

    Dr. Underbrink carefully listened to what I had to say. The issue is complex with a long history and he listened to my concerns and previous issues with previous providers. I have been struggling with this issue for about a year and he was the first provider to look holistically at the problem and provide a path forward. He understood my frustration with the issue and the lack of concern or path forward my previous providers showed.I literally cried in my car after the appointment in relief.He is compassionate and even though my problem is complex he didn't give up and refer me out with no plan like I usually get from other providers. This was the best experience with a healthcare provider I have ever had.

    Dr.Underbrink is awesome. He listens a to me and also explains everything. He goes into detail about things. We went over my labs and I was well informed. I felt like he cared about me. We tried the AI thing and he asked me to do it before he started it and it's great. I appreciated this doctor. I finally found a doctor that I like and explains things to me after having MultiCare for 20 years. It's been a hit or miss and this is great. I drive from across town to see this doctor. I live closer to the MultiCare lakewood family medicine but I choose to come and see Dr underbrinkThanks Doc!!

    Troy was quite rude and acted very rude just because I was sick. He was very obviously uncomfortable touching and examining me and made me feel very insecure. He even made a comment outside the door I heard him say "of course you put her in the small room so I'll definitely get sick"
